SL Destination # 4 : The Mystical Dreams Of Shekhawati India Part 1

For the next entry chronicling our incredible ongoing adventure exploring the beautiful sims of Second Life, we find ourselves at a destination we have visited numerous times. That being the mystical Shekhawati, India.

We were both spellbound by the beauty of the sim immediately upon arriving. The intricate textures of the build itself were immediately evident the moment we teleported in.

Rescued from the brink of extinction by the sim's current owners and builders, Rinaina and Ambi Bimbogami, the build is truly a land of enchantment. As we explored the region, we were astounded at the amount of detail and work which had been put into building what is without a doubt the finest Indian themed destination in Second Life.


The entire sim is filled with visual wonders. From the spectacular architecture, the many fountains, to the wildlife throughout the build, this is a photographer's paradise. 

Turn a corner, and you'll see elephants bathing in a fountain, another tigers on a pedestal, or inside, lounging in the heat of the near tropical climate. 

Not that architecture, wildlife and fountains are the only attractions to be found in Shekhawati. 

Scattered liberally throughout the sim are numerous  dance balls, lending this location to dancing and romancing as well. Just be sure to keep your private parts well..private. It may be a mature sim, but your bits and pieces must be covered. 

Think classy, not trashy and you'll get an idea of what the owners are wishing to convey here. 

There is a lot of area to cover in what is a massive build. One can shop for indigenous clothing native to India, visit the art gallery or even go clubbing while there. 

The music stream features a wonderful mix of Indian pop songs which helps to create a realistic, authentic atmosphere. There are also wedding facilities and other events happening all the time, so there is always something to see or do while visiting. 

We spent numerous days here and still weren't able to see all that Shekhawati has to offer. 

With the owners currently building more and more all the time -an additional sim was being added that we hadn't seen previously when we revisited today this has to be one of the most vast we have encountered in Second Life thus far.
